App REVIEWS

Ava

I have two VOCOlinc smart plugs in a shared office and using an app or voice assistant to turn the lights on and off was getting on everyone’s nerves so I finally purchased a Philips Hue smart button. I realized there was no way for me to program the button natively in HomeKit to turn on and off the lights. I searched the AppStore for apps and tried a few that didn’t do what I wanted until I found this one! It made it so simple to program the switch to turn the lights on if they’re off and Vice versa. I don’t understand why HomeKit doesn’t allow more than one action for the button. I’m just so glad I found a solution!! My one complaint and reason for not giving 5 stars though is because the app randomly crashes sometimes, which in my case is fine because I won’t really ever need to use it.

Phayd

They just don’t show up.

WKS79

Has some innovative features to control HomeKit devices but I don’t understand why it has to keep prompting for bluetooth each and everytime it starts - some of us don’t keep bluetooth on so stop asking for it! The app layout in ipad is also broken and the items are placed beyond the app boundaries so they can't be accessed.

brahimel

But seriously, I like it. Clever use of the AR kit. I’ve been wondering when more apps would start to make use of this API...(can you tell I'm a programer?). I have enough devices in my abode to make it worthwhile to use. Lying in bed while pointing my phone at the corner lamp to turn in on and off. My [great]grandfather is probably rolling in his grave right now. The app keeps losing the "link" to the device and I have to redo it.

abrahamw..

So I only got this app because I saw the new AR feature. This feature is awesome and is an amazing display of technology. It’s not really practical for most use cases but instead just a really cool feature available to anyone with HomeKit devices.

coffeyma..

Easy to use, easy to setup a device and start using it with Siri or simply point the camera to the device I want to give commands. 5 out of 5 stars thanks to its high usability

Pete

Some functions don’t work or seem like placeholders but everything else looks great and tiles do what they are supposed to. More icons, using the same HomeKit design language would be nice as well as an easier way to change them. The Apple Watch app only crashes, so I’ve never seen it on my S4. Worth installing to watch development.

arronhun..

My original review talked about the inability to change between °C and °F. The developer noted that this setting can be changed in the app settings inside your device settings. While it’s nice this is available, it is not very discoverable. Moving these settings in-app would improve the app experience greatly. Otherwise, app works as advertised.

chrisham..

I am using devices for a longer time frequently now and i am more and more happy with the ease of use, especially after the great design update. There are constantly updates and features like new triggers coming which is also great

AdonisSJ

While I was trying to delete a device from a room, this lovely app deleted the device along with three rooms and all of their devices. AND the settings were forced onto my Home app. Now I have to recreate the rooms, re-add the devices and reconfigure my Automation settings. I’m glad I didn’t spend any money on this app, but I’m still bummed that I have to recreate my Home setting. This app needs a lot of fixing. Try at your own risk.

Fatboy42..

A great product

Playpond

Easy, simple, works as advertised

Benjamin..

The app seems to be stuck on the "add new devices" spinning gear when trying to add a device via Home Bridge.. Deleting and reinstalling the app doesn't resolve the issue.

Dosbabe

Doesn't recognize multiple decices

NikW

I can't tell what light bulb colors I'm using in the scenes page. I was choosing them on the fly by looks, and now those are gone. Plz return them. But the rest of the app is great.

counter5..

We have sevaral iPhones and iPads in our home. So far it has worked on 1 device. The other 3 are not able to add any devices. Additionally, we are not able to add a new user on the 1 iPhone that was able add our Nest to share the home.

Savannah..

Seems to work on one phone. Will not let me share with another user? Any help would be appreciated.

Jrudz

You can type in a home name but you cannot click next to continue? App is completely useless. How do you get your money back??

Requeste..

Won’t get past the screen where you create a home. Next button does nothing. iCloud Keychain is enabled like they said. Restarted everything. No help on their support website.

Neblite

When launching the app it doesn't get past the first screen. After typing in the default device the return button has no effect on submitting the field.
