Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether

I can’t believe I can’t use coinbase! I wanted to send the guy $200 bitcoin to purchase the beats but they keeps declining transaction and it disabled my account from sending to others and that’s when they gave me a refund and I was definitely not happy with that. If coinbase hates me so much, fine I don’t care

It wont let me upload my id, access my funds or use the card!

Coinbase does not get back to you in a timely manner. Been dealing with an easy issue that should be resolved Updated still haven’t gotten a response. Customer service said they would get back to me…..

Stay away! There’s so many bugs I can’t even start with. Unable to select rewards for debit card, unable to add to Apple Pay. For some reason they use my old phone I changed a year ago and verified number to verify transaction. Funds not available to use. Many stores not accepting or transaction was denied. Customer service didn’t help at all. Wanna be stressed out? Use Counbase

You will lose money whenever you decide to sell or convert. Even if you have the coinbase membership. Trade with another platform. Don't get me started on the fees.

Coinbase is the most trustworthy of the CEXs as a result of being a publicly listed company in the U.S. The exchange is great although they could a few more cryptocurrencies that are highly sought after as opposed to relegating them to the Coinbase Wallet where gas fees will eat you alive in a bull market. On top of that, it would be nice to see the integration of chains not related to Ethereum (i.e Polygon), such as Algorand. This would allow for much faster and cheaper movement of crypto like USDC in the form of USDC-a, something I believe Coinbase is sorely missing. While I believe the exchange is one of, if not, the best to use for the purpose of safety of your funds, its always smart to get your coins off of exchanges. The exchange is great, but the app is something I believe needs a lot of work to become faster, simpler, and less cluttered. Over the years Coinbase has added new features and services, but it has also made the app less enjoyable to navigate. Icons/button so take up to much space and you have to parse through different pages to find what you need. It would be much better if the app was cleaned up and simplified to where everything you want or need is right where you want it. Better yet, like many other apps such as Kucoin or Bitget, it would be great to see Coinbase introduce a customizable interface. While the exchange is arguably the best in its class, the UI/UX has suffered as a result of new features being added. An overhaul of the app is something I believe Coinbase could really benefit from. While already relatively simple, apps such as Binance and Kraken are far simpler and generally offer the same things Coinbase does. A cleaner, and simpler user interface would benefit both company and customers as people would be more inclined to use it (Think Apple). For that reason, I am rating 4 stars instead of 5.

I suspect fraud. This app has almost perfect reviews, it’s complete garbage. It’s lies. It cost me more than 100$ to move 2000$ to the account, buy bitcoin and ethereum, sell the bitcoin/ethereum, and transfer back to my bank account. They are greedy. Be weary of the lies this organization is spreading in the reviews

I love Coinbase! Fast and easy!

Coinbase after almost a year of using unlinked my bank account and said I had to re-verify using plaid. When researching the company you essentially give them a login to your bank account and they look at all your transactions and sell that data and your bank balance data. There’s no other way that I’ve found to re-link my bank account so I’ve stopped buying crypto. Really disappointed in Coinbase

They make it so hard to try and get your money back.

I tried to cash out of Coinbase beginning early this week. I had sold my crypto December 15, 2022. I arranged to have my cash sent to my debit card.(The same card I used to buy crypto virtually weekly for over a year.) I started trying to cashout several days ago. This was on or about January 9, 2023. Despite the fact that Coinbase had obtained money from this same account each and every time I bought crypto, they claimed they could not send my cashout money, over $20,000, to my Wells Fargo account because my bank blocked the transaction.I checked with Wells Fargo. They said no attempt was made to send the money because there were no denials or any record of a failed attempt to transfer. Coinbase sent me emails which implied they had tried to send me the money but then immediately sent followup second emails claiming the transaction was canceled. This happened over and over again. I clicked multiple times to the Coinbase customer service chatline. The agents Varun and later Natasha's blamed my bank. The agents suggested I try a different account. So I added a different bank account. The same thing happened. Coinbase said the bank blocked the transaction. I tried to connect and cash out to my Chase Bank account. Chase bank officials said there was no attempt to transfer money. When I tried to add a different account, another one, Coinbase said I had made too many bank account additions and only two a week were allowed. Coinbase said I should wait about a week and try again! Finally today, having made no changes to the bank and debit card I have always used, I tried again to cash out. This time, the transaction went through, according to Coinbase. So I have a question: if as Coinbase claimed, my bank was blocking the transaction why didn’t it do it today? I maintain that it was a Coinbase that refused to send the money, not my bank blocking the transfer. I asked Coinbase customer service agents for proof that they had sent the money and that my bank had blocked it.The Coinbase customer service agents claimed they had no access to view my accounts. Today and yesterday Bitcoin and Ethereum increased in value.I believe there is a relationship between this increase in the value of bitcoin and Ethereum, and Coinbase’s release of my money. I question whether Coinbase is using customers’ coin or cash deposits in some form of hypothecation? I wonder if Coinbase was experiencing a run on its cash? Whatever the reason for Coinbase delaying returning my money, they falsely claimed that my bank, Wells Fargo had blocked the transfer. That was false because Wells Fargo said there was no evidence of a failed transfer. Now, Wells Fargo is not a paragon of virtue. However I believe in this matter they were telling the truth. As a result of my experience, I do not trust Coinbase. I will not buy cryptocurrency through Coinbase again.I do not believe Coinbase was transparent. Buyer beware! Oh, and just to add to the drama, last Monday I received a call on my cell phone from a man with a deep Indian accent who said his name was Keith Roberts. He said I had called and left a message at the Coinbase customer service line. I had indeed left a message. He said he wanted to help me get my money out.He said my account had been hacked by Russians and therefore it had been locked. He said I should download the app “any desk“ from the App Store to my phone. He would then help me transfer the money. I became suspicious. He said I should trust him because he was responding to my voicemail. He said how would he know I had called Coinbase if he wasn’t an employee. I asked him what his employee number was and he gave me a five digit number. I asked him why he had such a deep Indian accent with an English type name. His responses didn’t make any sense. He said he was Canadian with an English mother. At that point I smelled a rat and ended the conversation. I later found out that Coinbase has a policy that it does not initiate calls to customers. There’s some really oddities. Please show shares in under my assets. Why do I need to click so many pages to see something very relevant. And the accumulate profits, is very hard to distinguish one’s I am currently active vs already exited. The so called advanced trades is not very advance but instead of cancel, why isnt there an edit button? It is the same problem as recurring, not edit on day. There’s no proper alert. It’s just a standard, oh price moved. Why can’t I set my own price target as alerts? These are basic trading system features. I do see some improvements such as search bar on front page! But how is this so easily missed?

Very easy to set up and use. Definitely a great site for beginners.

They wait till pumps happen then log everyone off or out of their balances unable to liquidate or trade anything. They in freeze the app when the coins have settled sure you can use this to look at coins but don’t use them to access an trade currency. They are so close to being scammers. Walking a very think line here.

I’ve traded with Coinbase since they launched and I’ve had numerous issues with balances disappearing, account freezing when prices drop so you can buy or sell. I was about to transfer more cash to make a purchase before my balance was set to zero and customer service was unable. They primarily rely on a virtual assistant which is useless. I’m taking my business elsewhere.

why does the number one exchange have the number one worst load times and crashes

This app is a complete scam!This app charges you dollars on every transaction you make. Sure you can put money on there for free but every time you buy a coin or trade between coins they charge you 2-3%, every time you trade between coins they take money which the don’t disclose, it’s $2.99+ to change all of your money back to US dollar so that they can charge you even more! To put it back into your bank account. I finally made some money and they took half Of my profit when I traded it back to Dollar coin in order to transfer it to my bank. You’re better off putting your money into an ira with fidelity or Charles schwab. This app robs you at every level.
