The Corsair Game DESCRIPTION

The aim of this game is to remove all the balls, but one, from the game board; it is a variant of Jeu Solitaire, but it uses the French board, with 36 balls.

A ball is removed when another ball jumps over it.

A ball may jump over another ball if it is in an adjacent place to it (up, or down, left, right), and if the destination slot on the other side is empty.

To move a ball, first touch it: its color will change to blue; then touch the destination place. The ball will move to destination, and the ball in the middle will disappear.

If you are a champion, you will end the game with the last ball in the board centre.

If you are not satisfied of our last move(s), you can undo one or more of them, using the Undo Move button.

Ephemerides computes Sunrise, Sunset, Moonrise, Moonset times and Moon phase for any place and date of your choice. You have to choose the location of your interest, selecting it from a list of the main world cities, or capturing the current position detected by the internal GPS. Then you have to select a date; if you don't, the current date will be used. Finally, tap on the Compute button. The application computes and shows the results for the place and date you selected. Astronomical computations are very accurate, and keep into account moon perturbations, too.

The aim of this strategy game is to fill the board with more pieces than those of your adversary (the iPhone). You own the red pieces, and your adversary owns the blue ones. At each turn, you will get a new red piece, with a random number 1 to 20: you can see it below the board. You can put it in any free (gray) place, simply touching the destination slot. Once you have placed your piece in the target place, if in some of the adjacent places there are blue pieces with lower numbers, they will automatically be changed to red. Then the adversary's turn comes, and he will put a blue randomly numbered piece in a free place of his choice. And if there are red pieces with lower values in the adjacent places, they will be changed to blue, and so on. When the board is full, red and blue pieces are counted. If the red pieces are more than the blue ones, then you win, otherwise you lose. Hit the Restart button at any time to..

NumberGrid is a board game, somehow similar to Sudoku. You have a 6x6 grid. Each cell contains a number, 0 to 9; some of them are shown, some other are hidden. On the right of each row, and at the bottom of each column, the sum is shown of all the elements of that row, or column. Matching these indications, you have to guess the values assigned to hidden cells. To unveil a cell, just tap on it: a numerical keyboard will appear, and you can enter the number you guessed. If your guess was correct, the cell will assume a yellow background, and the hidden digit will be shown. If your guess was wrong, you still have two more attempts (three in total) to strike the right value; otherwise the hidden digit will be shown with a gray background, and your move will be marked as a fault. When all the cells will be unveiled, an alert message will notify your success, or the total number of faults. Before starting a new game, you can choose the level: Easy..

Fanorona is a two-player board game, originated in Madagascar. Black and white pieces, twenty-two each, are arranged on all points but the center. The objective of the game is to capture all the opponents pieces. The game is a draw if neither player succeeds in this. Capturing is done by either approaching or withdrawing from opponent's pieces. The board consists of lines and intersections, creating a grid with 5 rows and 9 columns, subdivided diagonally to form part of the tetrakis square tiling of the plane. A line represents the path along which a stone can move during the game. There are weak and strong intersections. At a weak intersection it is only possible to move a stone horizontally and vertically, while on a strong intersection it is also possible to move a stone diagonally. A stone can only move from one intersection to an adjacent intersection. Players alternate turns, starting with White. A white/black ball near the screen bottom signals the current player We distinguish two kinds of moves, non-capturing and capturing moves. A non-capturing move is called a..

GIPF is a strategic game for two players based on a classic concept: in turns, players introduce one piece into play until achieving four-in-a-row. Players then remove their row and capture any of their opponent's pieces which extend that row. This principle of capturing pieces creates each time again completely changes situations on the board. The purpose is to form successive rows of at least 4 pieces, until the opponent has no piece left to bring into play or when he has no more GIPF-pieces on the board. Aim The first player to create a situation where his opponent either has no more pieces in his reserve or no more GIPF-pieces on the board, wins the game. So, keep in mind: make sure to always have at least one piece in reserve and always at least one GIPF-piece on the board. Pieces The players start with 18 pieces in reserve each. Pieces in reserve are pieces of your own color that are not in play. A GIPF-piece is 2 pieces stacked one upon another. The board There are 24 dots..

Queen's Guard (or Agon) is a strategy game for two players, played on a 6x6 hexagonal gameboard. It may be the oldest board game played on a hexagonally-celled board, first appearing in France as early as the late eighteenth century. The game reached its greatest popularity a century later when the Victorians embraced it for its blend of simple rules and complex strategy. Rules Each player has one queen and six guards. Black player moves first, then move turns alternate. A circle below the game board always indicates the color of the move turn. On each turn, a player moves one of his pieces. The object of the game is to be first to maneuver one's queen to the central blue cell (the throne) at the center of the board, and surround her with all six of her guards. Moves The game board may be thought of as a series of concentric rings of hex cells (highlighted by rings of alternating colors). Pieces move one step at a time to an adjacent cell, either sideways in the same ring, or..
