The security is so “good” that no matter what I did, it wouldn’t let me sign in. I had to keep changing my password, then tried signing in with Apple then Facebook. Even though I could log into Apple and Facebook, My Fitness Pal wouldn’t let me in. I’ve heard good things but I guess I’ll never know.

Every time I add a workout the calories do not adjust correctly so when I ran and burned 232 it says I only burned 72 it randomly will correct but then goes back so it always looks like I’m over calories

Very easy to use but you have to carry your phone every were with

it has crashed, froze and even made my phone shut off completely. freezing for up to half a minute or more and the app being very slow entirely. my phone is up to date and i have never had issues with MFP until last month where these issues popped up and have only seemed to get worse. it's infuriating to try and just log my meal and have to have my phone freeze, crash, wait for it to start up again and then have it repeat AGAIN... calorie counting shouldn't be this much of a hassle.

It is really frustrating to pay $79 for something and then not be able to use it. Have reinstalled multiple times, relighted in, etc. Their support site is crap. Can’t figure out how to get my problem solved. Just the runaround on a bunch of Q and As that don’t solve my problem. I don’t know if anyone actually works there.

I have been using MFP since 2011, on and off. It has help me managing my progress towards weight loss (which is also on and off). The navigation has become easier and easier with each update.

I used this app for a very short time before deleting. The idea is good, but the ads were so obnoxious. Upon opening the app each time I was bombarded with ads. I just wanted a calorie and exercise tracker and this app would have been just what I needed but the price to subscribe wasn’t worth it. There are better apps out there to do what I need (Nutritionix is what I am using now!)

Easy to use. Did not purchase upgrade using free app. Currently keeping track of calories. I have been surprised by the amount of calories in everything. The app takes a pic of the barcode and automatically fills it in.

Overall, this a great app. However, recently they removed their widget off the iOS and it’s been such a disappointment!!! Please bring back the widget.

Tried to create an account and went through the whole goals process, but on the last screen when it tells you to create the account it throws “Unable to proceed - resolve errors to continue”. There’s nothing on the page except a next button so….pretty unusable

Please stop calling the calories I burned from walking “extra calories earned”. You don’t *earn* food, you need it to live. :/ The app has great features, but some of the language it uses around food… I’m not trying to lose weight, I’m just trying to track my diet, and all the emphasis around losing weight is really jarring, especially since you can’t turn off the weigh-in reminders and stuff. if I had a teenager I would never, ever let them anywhere near this app.

There are too many ads. I don’t want to go premium. And should not be pressured to do so.

I’m getting fitter and this site doesn’t starve me. It’s a great tool for change that lasts!

The best thing about this app was that it synced with my Fitbit, giving me extra calories for more steps. It wasn’t doing this for a while and each “help/support” of each app told me to contact the other one. This is сurrently working again and recording calories for my steps. It is a great incentive for exercising, which I really need.

**edit to add. Years later I open app to start over, again, and find everything is different confusing and in my mind premium just isn’t worth it. ** This app is a huge help to track your eating. I knew I needed to start eating healthy but had no idea how to start. A co-worker showed me how to use this and now I'm hooked!! 25 days & I'm down 15 lbs with a lot more to go!! I'm not really worried about it though!!

The UI is terrible. If you swipe to the right you go to the next page but if you try to get back you delete something you inadvertently didn’t want to do. It’s very frustrating.

Intermittent fasting is very popular. However, the app requires that you consume a minimum number of calories before it will allow you to store your daily food diary. On a 24 hour fast days you can’t log the water, coffee, bone broth, etc. A fasting day looks like you forgot t to enter your daily intake. On a modified fast days where you keep your calorie limit low for the day, it also will not let you log and save your intake for the day.

This app has decided to remove its widget. And here’s why - more click, more ads. With the widget, it took less clicks to log your food. So here’s how you can make this company pay for making such a stupid decision. Download and install a phone wide adblocker such as DNSCloak that will remove and block the ads on this app. Just install, pick a filter (I use adguard-dns) and then enable the vpn. Please ,if you are reading this and have not left a review , copy and paste these instructions to your review and give it a 1 star.

Some improvements could be make on app as far as calories go. I see large variables as far as the calorie sand end up having to google the calories and pick the one that’s closes to that amount. For my own recipes I would appreciate it if the app let me input servicing size to calculate calories instead of making me decide how many serving I need to get out of a recipe to get what calories are

I love this app and it’s really helping me!! But the recipe area is giving me error codes. Something about a domain error 500. Can’t wait till that’s fixed :)) also, I pay for the net carbs option - And for items with sugar substitutes such as allulose and erythritol, it doesn’t subtract it from the net carbs. Would love that to be taken into account please!!
