It’s a beautiful day to be Alive! Alive is a fitness and wellness app by Whitney Simmons. Whitney has shared her personal fitness journey and workouts for many years and has now designed programming to help women with their journeys. Whitney has a passion for empowering women to shape the best versions of themselves mentally and physically. This app does just that with programs and daily workouts curated to challenge and push you to your limits, to help you get into the best shape of your life and reach your fitness goals.

Alive was planned and designed to be as simple as possible and easy to use. Focusing specifically on the workout experience so you have confidence during your workouts. We are excited to continue improving and evolving the app with our Alive community in the process.

Features

Programs
Alive includes 10 different programs to choose from based on your personal goals. When you join a program you are guided through a full schedule of workouts that span over several weeks. This takes any guesswork out and keeps you focused on your goals.

Daily Workouts
Alive includes over 100 daily workouts that are split up into different categories (HiiT, Abs, Pull, etc) so you can decide what type of workout you want to do.

Journey
The path to a fit, healthy life is a journey, not an overnight process. The journey allows you to keep track of your progress by weight, photos, and a timeline of progress. Alive also has the capability of syncing your active minutes and weight data with Apple Health. Consistency is key so as you continually hit your goals the app will reward you with achievements along the way!

Subscriptions / Alive Premium
Alive is free to download and offers two Premium subscription options, Monthly and Annually. Both options include a 7-day trial. Alive Premium provides full access to the app including all programs and daily workouts.
Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You may manage your subscriptions and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after the purchase. After purchase, refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term. By downloading and subscribing to Alive Premium, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

I have been a fan of Whitney’s for quite a few years now and she has been the biggest inspiration for me. When she announced that she was coming out with a fitness app I just had to get it because she is literally the only one I follow when I go to the gym. I have completed about 3 of her programs and it is the only thing has helped me shed the weight and I have been going to the gym for about 5 years now. I love it and I can’t wait to see what else she has in store.

I just wished she explained what she was doing in workout. There some workouts I have to watch her do many times cause I’m not understanding. If she said what she was doing or at least a small description of what it is would be a lot easier. Other then that great app !

For years I've tried to find something I could stick to when it came to working out. I've followed Whitney on YouTube for years and decided to give the free trial a go and haven't looked back since. I already finished the 6 week challenge and am almost done with the 8 week one! The workouts are doable, easy to follow and paced well so that I don't burnout. Not to mention I'm seeing results! I've never felt stronger and for the first time ever my gym anxiety is gone :)

Followed Whitney for a while and finally got this app. It has good options for workouts, but I don’t go to a gym and workout and home and find the options on the app a little limited. Whitney please add a dumbbell only workout regimen!

I love how easy it is to follow and how there are options to change the exercise if needed. I have been able to adapt to the gym or if working out from home. The Apple watch feature is AMAZING and tracks my calories and active minutes. I cannot recommend this enough!

If you’re new to working out or just need a plan for when you’re in the gym or at home, this app is perfect for you! These workouts are made to meet you where you’re at, whether you’re just starting out or have been strength training for awhile. I love the programming because the last thing I want to do is think up my own workout. I also love that you can add the widget to your Home Screen to see what day and what workout your on or if it’s a rest day. I love that it shows that you’ve completed it too, makes me feel so accomplished! The fact that it now connects to your Apple Watch makes it that much user friendly. Don’t wanna do leg fat today? No problem, you can move the workouts around in the week to make it work for your schedule. This app makes it so easy to stick to your workout plan!

I love this app so much!! I will say if I could change anything it would be that the exercise alternatives are actual alternatives. Maybe things that are lower impact or actually take out the jumps or something like that. For example with the core moves, if my shoulders are super tired and I can’t do plank moves, but the only alternatives are something plank related - it makes it a little tough :(

This app has helped hold me accountable for the last 6 months. I haven’t missed a day at the gym since I installed it. When I say that I mean the day I have committed to which are only on the day I don’t work since I have a very active job. That being said I could always easily talk myself out of working out prior to the app because I felt like I didn’t know what I was doing. But this app makes it feel like you are working out with Whitney lol and took away my gym anxiety completely. I love the gym now! I’m also super pumped it now works with the Apple Watch. Hoping someday she incorporates meal programs or macro tracking and things like that. But even without those things it’s worth every penny! Thanks Whitney!!

Would highly recommend. You have to have a yearly or monthly subscription but I got mine on sale on Black Friday. It’s been a great, manageable plan with lots of at home options. Never invested in a fitness program app, but if you’re gonna do it this is the one :) I have been using it for over a year and it’s a great resource!

I’ve been lifting for a little bit now, but still love an additional tip or two! This app has great workouts that help build your strength. However, it lacks information on the “additional information” button. It would be helpful to have a better description of each workout being done, form technique, or even clarification of what some of the set types mean. Otherwise, love it.

I have been following Whitney for years and really like her content and workouts! The app has great programs and it’s great to just follow a step by step workout and not have to think while I’m in the gym.I do have a few suggestions though.. 1. When you’re in the middle of one workout, you can’t go back and look at others to compare weights. For example, if you lifted RDLs yesterday and today are doing sumo DLs for the first time in the app, you can’t go back to yesterday’s workout to see what you lifted in RDLs to gauge what you might want to try in sumos. 2. I know the Apple Watch app is new but it is giving me SO much trouble. I’ve been using it daily since it launched a week ago and I have not had a single day of seamless syncing. Even though my health app on my phone allows Alive to receive all data from my watch and fitness apps and vice versa, it will not sync. For a couple days I was just turning on both Alive and recording a workout like normal on the watch, but today I tried just logging it through Alive to see if it would show up in my rings and nope. Alive app says I have 57 mins but it only recorded 7 seconds in my fitness app even though I was using the watch app the entire workout. Overall, I like the workouts and content but the experience could be vastly improvements with some minor tweaks and corrections so it syncs well!
