Not only does Joon make it extremely easy to motivate your ADHD kids to do important tasks, but it also teaches them valuable life skills that they won’t be able to learn in school. We’ve helped thousands of families complete more than 100k tasks and teach their kids important life skills, so why can’t we help you?

Assign tasks as “Quests”, then the game does the rest.

1) Start with age-appropriate tasks & habits to focus on: Choose a couple focus areas, and we’ll provide you with a small list of recommended tasks (known as Quests) or create your own tasks to get your child started!

2) Use gamification to keep your child on track: Your child chooses a virtual pet (called a Doter) to feed, wash, and grow. They stay motivated and focused on completing the tasks you assigned them, so they can take care of their pet and level it up!

3) Your child stays focused and even develops life skills! As they progress in the game, your child will naturally start building their tasks as habits into their daily routine and even pick up on learning important life skills. All because they want to keep playing a fun game!

+ We make it easy to manage your child’s tasks and add to your existing routine.

+ We’ll do the reminding to help your child stick to their routine. No more nagging from your end.

+ Your child will stay focused to do the activities assigned to them. In fact, 90% of kids on Joon complete all tasks assigned.

+ Choose from a large list of research-backed activities to help your child build important life skills that teach independence.

Joon is less than a year old and already has the attention of press, parenting publications, and parenting experts. To see the complete list, visit our website here:

1) Install Joon on your device, create your family, and select a few beginning tasks you’d like your child to initially focus on.

2) Help your child set up their account so they can see the tasks that you’ve assigned them. You can have them download Joon on their own device or share you phone.

3) Add a few more activities that are most important to your family (such as chores, learning, or exercising) and assign them to your child. Your child will be motivated to complete these activities in order to feed and take care of their virtual pet.

4) Once your child completes their tasks, you can review and approve them to make sure they were completed correctly.

5) Once approved, your children receive coins and experience points that let them feed, level up, buy things, and progress in the game with their virtual pet. As your child continues to progress in the game, they actually progress in real life too!

6) Keep adding quests (and we’ll recommend you new ones too to help your children develop good habits! Your children cannot grow on their own. Make sure to stay involved in the process and keep assigning new quests as needed to allow your children to continue helping, learning, growing, and progressing in the game.

I like this and it made me want to complete my daily chores, which I have trouble doing. But not everyone can afford a subscription for this. Had really high hopes…

I’m liking the concept and want to have my kid enjoy the game, but it’s continually freezing in the game screen-we haven’t gotten past feeding our dragon its first strawberries.! I’m disappointed because the concept sounds motivating for both my son and I! Specifically-the game makes sounds, music and animation but the strawberry won’t let us pick it up to feed it and we have ended/closed/restarted the app several times.

I decided I would use it for myself but it won’t let me interact with my animal please fix that bug then I can rate it higher :>

This app has been such a huge help with my son. With his ADHD he can get easily distracted just doing daily tasks such as brushing his teeth, getting ready for school, and doing his homework. Using this app he now wants to do these tasks knowing that he gets coins to buy things for his friend Draggo and he gets to take care of him. It has been wonderful!

We just got the app and I’m already frustrated. It’s freezing up/glitching every time we go to the page where you feed the pet.

This app appeared in my IG feed after a particularly difficult day navigating my son’s struggles to stay on task. I immediately downloaded it and began customizing it to our lives. My son LOVES Joon and looks forward to spending time exploring and taking care of his doter. His little sister watches him play for hours and can’t wait to create her own! I’m particularly impressed with the customization abilities for tasks. It is easy to tell how much time has been taken to design both the parental side, as well as the child side. I’ve referred several friends and continue to bring it up whenever I hear someone struggling with their kids staying on task. Kudos to this team for their foresight into consumer needs, as well as their amazing communication. This app is honestly perfect for all kids, but it really checks off all the marks for keeping a neurotypical kid engaged. Thank you so much!

I tried many of the popular chore apps on the App Store in order to get a feel for each before presenting them to my kids ( 7 & 8 years old). Many were complicated, involved way too many steps, or were geared toward an older crowd with their own devices. We couldn’t find a fun, simple, and straightforward chore/reward app that my kids could operate without involving me. Joon presents itself as an engaging, goal-oriented, and responsibility based app for kids. First and foremost, my kids know they must take care of their Doter. They love checking in to make sure it is fed, bathed, and awake. If they don’t, the Doter becomes neglected, then falls asleep hungry and dirty. Even more fun, they can peek in on other players’ Doters to see how they’re faring. My kids felt pretty proud of themselves when they saw many other Doters were asleep or dirty while theirs were thriving. A sense of pride and responsibility instilled by an app? Check. Motivation to keep doing well in their chores? Check. Oh, and completing the assigned chores earns points and coins. They can use those coins to purchase items for their Doter in the special general store. Adults can use preset chores (referred to as Quests) or make up their own. Joon is the most user friendly app I’ve tried so far and what has sold me on using it long term. Lastly, the creators are communicative and appreciate feedback. I like that they want insight as to how the app can be improved. This app is definitely worth a try and I recommend it for any families that have game motivated kids or those who want to care for a pet.

They have great customer support and the story behind the app immersive. My daughter is engaged and it helps to keep her on task. There are some self assignable tasks she can do and I wish there was a way I could see what they might be and or limit them because she does those instead of the tasks that we assigned her.

I actually really love this app for myself, as someone with adhd. But I’m a teenager and I can’t even come close to affording the $15 a month or $80 a year price. I really want to love this app and I love the concept and execution, but I can’t afford it. Sorry Joon, let me know when there is a version cheaper than spotify premium.

Love the general idea, but unfortunately my son doesn’t like the game style so he has zero motivation to care about points he can earn to play it. Anyway, just recommend giving the monthly membership a try to see if your child likes the game style. I invested in the annual and it was a mistake. 😔

It’s $80 a year and for that, it’s VERY rough and glitchy. Plus why only two care givers!?! That’s ridiculous.

As it says , this app so far is great . My child loves it !!!however, it just needs to also be on android because my child has an android phone.

This is a great app, especially if your kiddos are into adventure games and/or cuteness. A lot of thoughtfulness and patience has gone into this and I expect that it will only get better as time goes on. Try eet!

This is an excellent app. My family of 5 uses t every day. It helps create a fun and positive way to keep everyone on track with their tasks. The kids love the point system and the pets in the game. Using pictures for each coMpleted task is so helpful. We’re looking forward to parent lists in the future we hope so we can get in on the fun! I highly recommend to everyone!

Have you ever had your kids ask for more chores? Yeah, me neither…until now! I thought the app was a bit expensive until my kid started asking to be assigned more chores. Also, the customer service is amazing. They not only answered my question, but checked back later to make sure I hadn’t had any more issues!

It’s amazing. They are jumping to do what they need to to earn points in the game.

I would like for the app to be updated so it runs smoother for my child. It feels very low fps and if I’m going to pay money into it I expect a smoother experience.

It’s Great For Me Since I’m A Child And I Slightly Have ADHD!

This app is incredible! It has helped my kids be motivated and excited about doing the simple day to day tasks. We now get out of the door to school on time, without the constant reminders coming from mom. It even helped my youngest (and me) go through a very difficult “not wanting to stay in our bed” period. Having this motivation to earn coins for staying in bed, literally changed our bedtime routine. Having my kids excited about doing chores, feeding and caring for their Doter, doing other quests that help their makes for a happy home! We can’t stop talking about how wonderful Joon is. Download and watch the motivation your children will have to wake up and start completing quests (or the tasks you assigned to them).

So this app didn’t work for us. My child like playing it at first but the problem is she didn’t like playing it enough that she is willing to do the task in real life to earn the gold. She told me all they do is take care of a pet, which is what my daughter likes but she said the clothes you can buy to dress your pet up are not cool compared to other dress up games that she can buy stuff for her pet/avatar (adventure academy, and prodigy math r the only other game she has). Plus she does not like the auto text voice the game has when her other games she is allowed to play seem of offer better sounds, voice overs, ect. Plus the cost for what you get I do not feel is worth it. There are other educationa/self improvement app that cost less with with better graphics, sounds, and game play for kids then this one and they cost less.
