The automatic checkr background report refresh/review kicked me out of my dasher account mid-dash. I have nothing on my background report or my motor vehicle record. The email stating that this is routine said that I should not have any issues with dashing in the meantime. However, this was not the case. Dasher support was entirely unhelpful, so I’m hoping I can reach the app development team this way. Even though I have been a dasher for years, I’m stuck on the “hey please complete these steps so you can start making money with DoorDash” screen. It keeps going back to this, even when I log out, delete the app, download, login. I’ve repeated these steps and tried logging in with email and password. I’ve also tried logging in after redownloading with my phone and one time pin. Neither worked. I don’t want to be completely kicked out of my account all the way until the background check refresh thing is done by the 12th. You can’t just take peoples livelihoods away for an entire week with two hours of warning (that wasn’t really a warning, because the email said there shouldn’t be any hiccups) and no reasoning. But even if it does happen, make sure support has a clear way to communicate these issues to the development team.

Support is completely horrendous, they just want to end the conversation and not wait 2 minutes before ending the chat, all the bad things are related to them to this app. It’s just horrible side hustle and you spend more time having to speak to support to fix something rather than them fixing it by giving you absolutely no help at all.

I’m finally platinum, I don’t get high orders and they are also very far and what happenes when I don’t accept? I get dropped by %. Also, fast food places take forever to make orders on purpose and cause me to be late to pick up and drop off which makes my % go down too doordash needs to fix the part where the order actually goes to the restaurant in the time I before I pick it up it should be already be made or making not when I show up or after I show up. I’m tired of being manipulated and I’m not the problem it’s the fast food restarants and the people who take in the dasher orders from the restaurant. I’m way faster than what the app shows and I can only do so much on my end please fix this doordash I need to get paid!

I was really loving working for DoorDash. I like having my own schedule. I like working a lot, but I like to do it at weird time so DoorDash was giving me a lot of flexibility in that way I went to pay one of my bills one day with some of the money that I earned from DoorDash, I take the money out of my DoorDash account, and then two days later it double charges me for the money I took out to pay my bills and ever since then I’ve been about $500 in the negatives on my account. I have continuously asked people for help on DoorDash support. I even talk to Apple wallet support to see if it was the Apple wallet that double charged the money. But nope it was definitely DoorDash. They cleared it on my transaction saying that I wasn’t double charged after about a week and now that it’s not on my transaction list that I was double charged. No one will take responsibility. so this was a good source of income for me and a good way to have a flexible schedule is now screwing me over by charging me and no one will take responsibility for it and they’re pretty much just telling me to deal with it

I’m a long time dasher. I’ve been doordashing since the start of the pandemic it’s unfortunate that I can no longer dash because of the new ios16 update. I have the iPhone 7 and the ios16 isn’t compatible for my phone. So the only way I can continue to dash is if I upgrade my phone in which I don’t have the funds at the moment with hurricane Milton rolling into the Tampa Bay Area. Today would’ve been a great day for me to be able to make extra money since I’m losing a lot of money at my part time job due to the closure of hurricane Milton. Sad that I don’t know when I’ll be able to dash again as I love doing doordash.

the new map design is almost unusable and has caused me not to dash over half as much as i normally would just because it is so hard to find the house i’m delivering too now, and the audio doesn’t even work right. i can’t hear directions so i turn the volume up, then when it reads drop off instructions it about blows my speakers and eardrums. please revert and fix it asap. LITERALLY every single thing is horrible about the maps and i’m not exaggerating, who thought this was an upgrade??

Door dash is horrible has the most ridiculous offers & lying customers. There are often problems with the drop off pins every time I try to deliver an order it says I’m not at the correct location! I received a notification saying a customer reported not receiving their food so I contacted support! Support literally asked me for more information which I told them they only told me about a report no additional information. The representative stated that he/she couldn’t further assist me w/o additional information. Door Dash is really becoming ridiculous with these new updates & features! Giving these customers the option to bypass picture taking to verify that they received their order at the right location is a slap in the face to dashers who are actually honest! It’s a sad reality that people lie over food & these representatives so easily believe them! I don’t ever appreciate being lied on especially about something so simple!!!
