I don’t understand how to use it. Maybe it would be enjoyable if I could do it
it’s very obnoxious that i can’t organize lists anywhere but on the desktop app, and those changes aren’t reflected across every view! otherwise, man, i really want to use this app. it’s clean and simple, but i need more control over how i organize my information
Need the ability to auto import google reminders. You don’t have a dedicated reminders app.
When a task pops up in my head I can put it down in this app and add details that can be checked off individually. A great way to get things written down and done all from your phone.
It takes a little bit of time to get used to using it , but it seems to work fine ! I say use it people !😃
This app would be great if there would be an option for notifications on iPhone. It’s useless without it.
Really sad to see the delightful illustrations that began a new list and rewarded you for completing one. In their place is an incredibly boring and generic checkmark icon. The app has lost the little bit of character that kept me using it over alternatives. I knew such fun and engaging design couldn’t last, I waited until the app forced me to update, but now it will simply be deleted out of sheer dismay.
Can you add the ability to expand and collapse sub lists?
Like all of the features here just seem so obvious, yet here we are downloading another 3rd party app because Apple cant add a desktop app and some other simple things.
Pretty much everything is great with this. Tasks can only have one layer of sub task but that’s not a big deal for me
I use this to keep me on task with my daily and weekly duties. Send me alerts and embeds in my calendar. Love!!!
Some of us are still analogs and really benefit from having a printout of to-do items; I have my Google Calendar set to email my daily Agenda each morning. This Agenda only shows Events - is there a way to give the Agenda the option to include Tasks (and Reminders)? I would love to have my task list show up in the daily email that I print.
Nice integration with Google Calendar. Multiple lists so you can separate areas of your life Internet categories. I use Tasks every day and it works perfectly.
I’m a GC and I work a lot of different jobs so I’m always pulled in a lot of different directions at once and remembering so many different things is very difficult to do which is why some thing like Tasks Jess absolutely increases my productivity and my ability to actually rest during my free time. I mean that’s just lists in general, but it’s so convenient to have it hooked up with my email and Google drive so everything is one place.
Updated the app as it was required and now all my tasks are meshed together and not listed or organized by date. Making this app completely useless!! Please fix this
Why would you get rid of the dates in your list of tasks?! So now I have a long list of tasks and have no way of knowing which ones are due today…come on get it together.
i rely on the widget to have an easy way of seeing what tasks i have ahead, but all of a sudden it stopped working so i uninstalled the app, and now there’s no widget. please fix this!
I like this app. It's simple and easy to use. The google calendar integration is key. LOVE the widget, it's so useful for capturing a task right when you think of it.
I’ve been reminded to update 100 times and finally did, but now the UI changed from something that was useful to something different with 0 explanation about what it is. What’s a list? Why do I want one? Why are tasks sorted by the order I create them instead of their due date? So annoying. Now I get to scan through the list of ALL the tasks I have just to see what I wanted to get done today buried somewhere in the middle.
Having experience from both Things and ToDoist, Google tasks to me strikes a good balance between simplicity and functionality. Some room for improvement however; Scheduled or “time critical” tasks only sends you a visual notification, where as I would like to have an sound alert option as well. Preferable a unique one or an option to choose from the list of system provided alerts in order to differentiate from eMails and other audible notifications (I hate the iOS eMail audio notification, but that’s probably just me not liking getting eMails and conditioning).
