The Spokesman-Review app

We pay 800 a year for the printed paper and I use to use this app too but now can’t get the articles in this app. They canceled the Saturday paper but they didn’t reduce the price and the paper is so thin it should be embarrassing to you. I shouldn’t have to login. This use to be a free app.

I have a subscription but I can’t access the articles. There’s a “contact us” tab, but it won’t let me even though I’m “logged in.”

Open the app, look at news that is a month old. Not very informative. Waste of my time.

Every page has multiple large display ads interspersed between paragraphs. It is difficult to read a story without actually touching one, and that opens a web browser page. Then you must leave the browser to get back to the story. Why? Just so S-R can sell another click through? Dumb. It is funny, in a way, that it is the same display ad repeated over and over, and over again. Can your advertiser be naive enough to pay per click each time. One either wants to read the click-through ad one of the first half-dozen times it is accidentally triggered or not. Only a few of the local columnists and blogs are available in the App. For now, it is easier to just use a browser. The App is only irritating. S-R you can do better tan this, and you should.
